ACS has been involved in numerous water (hydro) projects over the last few years. We have extensively been involved in the reverse engineering (scanning and 3D modelling) of existing dam wall structures which were used for safety audits and expansion projects for dam wall raises. These 3D models were used for fem analysis of the new loads and as as-built information for the new designs.

Other areas of expertise are LiDAR scanning for flood analysis and mapping for dam location and catchment areas.

Coastal LiDAR surveying has also been carried out to check on infrastructure encroachment onto the coastal belt reserve and risk management in the case of floods, tidal anomalies and global warming.
